WiseGuysNation,
What a weekend? Bears come out with the win and the closest game in my opinion would be between Tony and Pedro. All their players were exhausted, but it was a battle of the defenses and Pedro came out with the win. Oh Mike, my dear old cousin Mike, Mr. 3X goes down the first week to yours truly. At this point in time in previous years, Mike starts building his Elite Waiver Wire Team. No mas Papa! No research on draft will result in no more wins this year! No more dumpster diving and finding gold!
I am a firm believer in being consistent and Victor is too, awesome job on your losing streak from last year that is bleeding into this year. As the Marlboro man once said, I can't go back. Riddle me this Eric, how is it you draft Bridgewater ahead of Russel Wilson (aka Mr. Unlimited) in the Draft and yet start Russel Wilson this week? That is some backward drafting strategy my friend, but it paid dividends for you this week. I don't care what everyone says, you have a beautiful mind.
Alan right out of the gate taking is names and not looking back. Unfortunately Michael M. had to deal with his wrath this week, but we have all seen what happen last year in the playoffs. The question is if you can go to distance this year and maybe it's your time this year too. Look in the mirror and ask yourself this, am I going to be Hercules or Achilles this year. They both had it all, but as Phil says in the Disney Hercules movie about Achilles "THAT FORSLUGGINER HEEL OF HIS! He barely gets nicked there once, and kaboom!
The battle of the brothers, Hector versus Aldo! Hector doesn't care if your the older brother and won't let blood come in front of winning a WiseGuy Champsionship! He didn't say that to me personally, but I can see it in his eyes on draft day.
Looks like Manny/Tammy/Whammy/Jammy, did not come out with the win this week because Jim had different plans for last year's champion. Jim it might be your year too, you and I are in the same boat as we started in WiseGuys the first year and we have yet to win a championship.
The King of the Hill is Pedro with 152 points. The player of the week is D.Adams with 41 points and owned by Tony.
I wish you all the best this week, but never against me.
May the force be with you all.
