Week 3 Recap

Congrats to the Krusty Krew for the 185 point explosion! Very close to the record of the highest point total in WiseGuys history (205)! Took a team to almost break a record to beat me crazy.. Way to earn $25 for the week. Good luck to everyone this week except for Alex. I hope all your players decide to help bring peace to the Ukrainian conflict and are unavailable to play Sunday. Justin Jefferson hits 100 receiving yards in 51% of his games. No active player with more than 3 career games played clears 40% for either 100-yd receiving or rushing. 👀

CAUSE FOR CONCERN?👀

There have been rumblings with Melonheads ownership on Coach Mellons leadership. Some believe he has "lost the locker room entirely". Not many teams make it to the championship game, let alone the playoffs, after an abysmal 0-3 start.

The injuries continue to pile on for Austin 3:16 and so do the losses. With Eckler, Watson, Jones, and even their starting defense (Trevon Diggs out for season) hobbled can Austin 3:16 manage such a depleted roster?

First year growing pains for The Pickles and it shows. Stumbling out the gate going 0-3. Some teams just want it and others don't. Do the Pickles have what it takes to turn it around?

The Pickles started Waddle over the weekend. He was ruled out.. with a concussion.. Where is the pivot???

Krusty Krew working that waiver wire. Picking up a gem ($0 bid!) and starting Jerome Ford (18pts). Research paying off. 

Week 2 recap

Y'all see who had the highest point total for week 2? I missed it so please let me know as soon as you find out who had the highest point total because I can't seem to find it. A lot of story lines and injuries this week but don't get discouraged. Sooo much talent/potential out there on the waiver wire makes me want to add a few more bench spots to our teams. As always good luck this week except for Aldo. Hope every player on your team has a very minor Chubb injury. May the force be with y'all.

Puka Nacka has the 7th-best odds to lead the NFL in receiving yards this season. This is higher than Stefon Diggs, AJ Brown, Amon Ra St. Brown, and Calvin Ridley. 👀

Wellness check?  With a season ending injury to Nick Chubb, Diontae Johnson on IR, and Anthony Richardson dealing with concussions. Can the Fear the Staches pull it together?

Joe Burrow continues to deal with a calf issue.. Will this prevent the Bastardly Bandits from returning to the playoffs?

Nasty Palace of Love had 5 picks in the first 2 rounds of the WiseGuys draft. The result? A very underwhelming 1-1 start. Averaging a whooping 108 points. Is ownership to blame?

DN Mafia added Puca for the price of FREE on Sept 10. Right before his breakout. Great pickup might be the steal of the year.

Side-note: I updated the waiver wire system I didn't like how teams couldn't add players on game-day.

Drake London put in his cardio this week. He played THE most snaps on the Falcons (90%) LED the team in routes (20). The result? 1 target 0 yards. Drizzy lock starter. Also DJ Moore had a 5.6% target share. WHAT ARE THEY DOING???

Titans RB Tyjae Spears out snapped Derrick Henry (34-30 snaps). Seems like the Melonheads might not have the RB1 they thought In Derrick Henry. 

With injuries to JK Dobbins and Cooper Kupp Darth Nemsis may be looking to pack it in and start looking for vacation destinations early this season. 

Deandre Swift had a whooping 1 carry and 2 targets. Eric Ballin INC I don't think he is who you thought he was.
