WiseGuys,
Most of you know by now, but if you live under a rock, WiseGuys will be part of the Disney Plus Package starting December 1st, 2019. I will provide additional details as to what this means at halftime of the Patriots versus Texans Sunday night game. You may ask yourself, why is the Commissioner waiting until the Sunday night halftime show? Glad you asked, when I met with Bob Iger this week, he made it clear to me that when you make an announcement and provide a specific time, it draws the most people in.This process is what he has been doing for many years with Star Wars, Marvel, and any new Disney movie trailer. During my meeting with Bob, yes we are on a first name basis, he originally wanted to buy WiseGuys for 250 million dollars, but I turned it down. All I can think about was Billy Beane when he made the decision to turn down the Boston Red Sox to stay with the Athletics. His famous quote as to why he turned them down is, "I made one decision in my life based on money. And I swore I would never do it again." Bob really wanted the Disney Brand to be associated with WiseGuys. After continuous conversation with Bob, I then made the executive decision to partner with Disney in their plus package. The deal between WiseGuys and Disney is silent. Main reason because all you vultures are quick to cash in, cash out, explore investment opportunities in XFL, preferred stock options, fair share option of 8% (I get 12%), a portion of Disney, millennial mentality and entitlement, 20% equity, 10% royalties, 2% royalties and a chance to meet Zendaya. I think I covered the damn wish list, but if I did not I am sorry.
There are only two weeks left of the regular season and at this point in time this is the playoff picture:
Declans Mafia #8 versus
The Undisputed Era #1
Darth Nemesis #5 versus
Future Champ #4
Krusty Krew #6 versus
NastyVille NASTY #3
Saquon These Nuts #7 and
Team Roberts #2
Outside looking in: Action Jackson #9, Humongous Melonheads #10, Me and MaHomies #11, and Uncle Rico's Nephew #12.
Now this is a snapshot and things can change in these next two weeks, so don't get complacent and put your best players on the field. If you need to make a trade to get an edge, then do it asap! The trade deadline is November 29th at 2:00am central time.
Victor it was a pleasure doing battle with you, but better luck next time. Just to give you a visual, I feel like Joker coming down the stairs with Rock 'n' Roll by Gary Glitter playing in the background. Well, well, well, Mike B. decided to finally play this week, but Lamar Jackson still wants out of your organization. Aldo, there are two weeks left and you can potentially miss out of the playoffs with a loss. Hector, you cannot afford to lose at all these two weeks. Hector, I have a question for you, if you miss the playoffs does your merchandise go on clearance? Michael M. you sit at the 8th spot and you are solely responsible for your own future. Eric, I know you lost, but Aaron Rodgers is coming back after a bye week. I predict Eric will have 150 points every week here on out. Tony, awesome win against Eric, and your win streak is now at four in a row. Jim, you and the Chicago Bears have the same chance of making the playoffs. You got this! Pedro, oh Pedro, 83 points are not going to cut it going forward. "Gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers in this racket" (Mark Hannah). Alan, for another week you remain in 1st place. Keep it up playboy! Manny, thy brother, you are sitting at 7th place and like so many others you can not afford a loss these next two weeks.
King of the week is, wait, what?!?!?! Is this right?!?! Mike B with 151 points this week. The player of the week is a tie between J. Allen (39 points) owned by Tony and L.Jackson (39 points) owned by Mike B. The match up of the week is between Hector versus Mike B. They are both 4-7 and whoever loses is not making the playoffs.
Please note, since the Chicago Bears are no longer in playoff contention. I don't foresee a WiseGuys outing going down December 5th.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
May the force be with you always,
Commissioner
