What an amazing week 10, especially with the Monday night game going down to the wire for many owners. The one that stood out to me most was the game between Jim and Alan. Alan thought he had the win in the bag before Monday's night game, but Jim had another thing coming for him. Jim was only down by 40 points with Coleman and the 49ers defense. Jim gathered his team and gave a phenomenal pre-game quote that he took from Muhammad Ali:
"It isn't the mountain ahead to climb that wears you out; it's the pebble in your shoe."
After he gave this quote, he took his team out on the field and did the same pregame routine like the Titans in "Remember Titans". Jim came storming back, but fell short by 5 points because Coleman decided to punch out before overtime.
My brother Manny started strong against thy older brother, but lost by five points and will have to bend thy knee to thy older brother (Robb Stark voice). Mike B. after your loss this past weekend, I heard Lamar Jackson threw a chair at you during a post game interview. He is frustrated being part of your 3-7 team and would like to leave your organization. Mike M. awesome job for being the better Mike this weekend. I was always confused between the two Mikes, but now there is only Winner Mike and Loser Mike going forward. Tony pulled out another win this week and has extended his win streak to 3 in a row (currently the highest streak). Aldo, I dropped Robby Anderson for a reason and now I feel like I contributed to your loss........not!!! Victor, awesome freaking job!!! Victor, the playoffs are 3 weeks away and I know the saying is better late than never, but never late is better. Victor, I hope you make that 8th spot. Hector what is going on, you are currently sitting at 9th, do you want to go to the playoffs?!?! Oh, you do, well your analysis on your players needs to improve. Hector left points on his bench. Like Kanye West kinda says, they say fantasy football starts on Thursday, but the strong start on Wednesday. Pedro you crushed it this week!!! Pedro I am not sure if you are superstitious or not, but I would not change your underwear at all after that win. I personally am not superstitious, but I'm a little 'stitious. Eric, you did your best against Pedro, but you are now in 2nd place overall. With this loss, you have been dethroned by Alan who now sits on top of the throne. I am rooting for you Eric, don't go chasing waterfalls, please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to.
The King of the hill is Pedro, who as I previously stated put up 168 points. The player of the week is the disgruntled Lamar Jackson with 38 points owned (for now) Mike B. The match up of the week is between Hector (8th) and Mike M (9th), may the best team win.
I don't say it enough, but I really do appreciate everyone's activity on GroupMe throughout the week, during games, or at 6 o'clock in the morning during a morning dump. As always, WiseGuys is about the people and not one individual person (me).
May the force be with you always,
Commissioner
