Dynasty information part 1.

As you all know dynasty format will have some changes and I'm going to explain in detail over the course of the season what some these changes will look like for our league. There is no other type of format where the person feels more like the actual owner of a team more than dynasty. So what this requires is more roster spots for each team. A typical dynasty league will have about 25-30 spots we will be starting off with 25. We have 16 now that would be an increase of 9 more additional spots. The waiver wire will be thin however this will drive trading around the league. We will be able to trade draft picks (current, mid draft, or future) and trading during the off-season. With the league opening up for all these potential trades there would be no vetoing system. Furthermore, if an owner is trading away future picks they do have to pay an allowance of $25 for each pick traded away. This allowance will be applied towards that owners entry fee for the next year. The entry fee every year for WiseGuys Dysnaty will remain the same $100. For example, if the Melonheads were in a "win now" mode and trade away 2 future picks to 3xx for a star WR. 3xx would receive 2 future picks. The Melonheads would pay the allowance of $50 (which would bring his entry fee to the next year $50 instead of the $100) and receive his missing piece for his championship run. This will require documentation on my part as commish (don't worry I have an excel sheet started for this)

Week 3 recap

Its been a rough week being a Bears fan boys. When do we start the "Fire Nagy" chants? He made Justin "Baby Goat" Fields look worse than Kyle Orton. How is that even possible? I digress lets get into the recap. Starting off with the undefeated teams we have El Presidente taking care of the Krusty Krew. Glad we got a deal done for JJ before that Wyoming trip some Krusties may still be MIA. (129-111). We have Seandre3K continuing his fire start with a win against The Nasty Palace of "I dont check my lineup Sunday mornings for injury updates" Love. What kind of owner doesn't check on his team Sunday morning before gamedays? Ill tell you what kind. The ones that like L's. And that's what Sean gave Pedro a big fat plate of L with extra "L" sauce.(109-97) Grats you played yourself. We had The Undisputed Elite take care of business without their captain CMC. 3xxx starting Baby Goat at QB who produced 3 fantasy points is rough (96-74). Another MNF showdown Darth Nemesis needing some MNF magic. Zeke came through and got him the W. Mafia having a sexy Mattison flex almost pulled it off (126-120). Eric B. Ballin INC continues to dominate. That late round Mike Williams pick paying dividends. King of the Hill KC stack wasn't the best this week and it showed. (147-104). Our highest point total of the week goes out to The Bastardly Banditos! Scoring 168 on Cooper Kupps back! Keep the strong start going. The stallions 44 points just wasn't enough. Seems as though the Humongous Melonheads continue getting smaller and smaller week by week. Keep your head up king. On to the Marquee matchup of the week. Family Feud. 3-0 vs. 2-1. Hermano vs. Hermano. New commish vs. Old commish. New hotness vs. Old and busted. As always, good luck to everyone this week, except for Alex. I hope your team gets blown up like the Death Star did in episode 4 (spoiler alert). Everyone just no shows and your sitting there asking "where did my team go?.."

Week 2 recap

Week 2 came and went boys. I hope it was fulfilled with all types of W's. Lets just take a moment to recognize the team with the highest point total of the week. Eric B Balling putting the team on King Henrys back  and going off for 184! Have yourself a week. Even with the gutsy call from the Nasty palace of love going double TE (great call btw) still wasn't enough (184-152). Wish I can say the same for 3xx though. He had a nail biter MNF game.  Krusty Krew v. 3xx and that bad man Aaron Rodgers game to play. His 34pt performance sealed the deal. (102-95) Congrats to the Krusties for finding their first W. Yours truly making slight work of Declan's Mafia (162-113) Was nervous though after that 27 point TNF game from Scary Terry. The Undisputed Elite putting a smack down on King of the Hill (150-71) That Lockett/Wilson stack working some magic. Jim was close to breaking Hectors All time hot garbage low 49 point game. Close call Jim. We had Darth Nemesis finding their first W as well against the Bastardly Bandits (134-117) Evans and Sutton looked really good. Last but not least we have our newbie making quick work of the Melonheads. Just when I gave them credit and thought they were Humongous they turned out to be quite petite. (108-95). This leaves us with only 2 undefeated teams left. Our newbie Sean and myself. 3xx and The Bastardly Bandits still looking for their first W. Marquee Matchup would have to be the 2nd place Seandre 3k newbies v. the 4th place Nasty palace of lovers. Good luck to y'all this week as always keep applying pressure and stay tinkering those lineups. Everyone, except Aldo and those Krusties he calls a Krew. I hope your entire Krew takes a trip to Wyoming and doesn't come back for the next 96 hours.

Week 1 Recap

Week one is officially in the books boys!!! Y'all see who scored the most points? 178?? Yeah.. none other than yours truly 😎. (178-123) Mahomies please adjust the name Mahomes isn't on your team anymore lol.  Declans Mafia had a good showing against the Krusty Krew (120-106) very balanced team there. Sorry for the L Aldo, just need a team huddle and your team should be good. King of the Hill stormed out of the gate with the deadly stack of Mahomes and Hill taking care of the former three time champ (148-125). 3x has a good young core Jamaar Chase looks like a hit keep ya head up king. The Undisputed showed up showed out, stacked Russ and Lockett, but still wasn't enough for the Nasty palace of love (151- 146) The GOAT Tom Brady still getting it done on your team at the age of 75 what a time to be alive. Our newbie Sean handled business against our very own former commish (127-71) Sean don't rely on that defense to score 17 every week. Also, I didn't know it was even possible to score 71 with 2 flex spots available. Not to mention the amount of FAAB spent on Elijah Mitchell?!? Can we all agree $76 was a little much or? Egh. The marquee matchup of the week Melonheads and the Big baller Brand that is Eric. I believe we saw some preemptive celebrations from the Baller brand  popping champagne thinking the matchup was over, W in the bag... Then Darren Wallers monster 26 point MNF come from behind performance happened. The Melons are here boys. (145-137). Someone please checkup on my man Roberts. After the way too early celebrations I haven't heard a word from him since.. Moving on to this weeks MARQUEE matchup(s) will be El Prez v. Declans Mafia and Seandre3k v. the Melonheads  (teams looking to stay undefeated). On the flip side Mahomies V. Darth Nemesis and 3XXX V. Krusty Krew all 0-1 matchups. Trying to dig out from 0-2 no bueno. Remember y'all spend that FAAB wisely, check your lineups, do your research, and don't overthink it. Or don't. Doesn't affect my undefeated team. 😅 Good luck to all of you except Mike M. I hope your team has the worst case of diarrhea. So bad they are physically unable to show up for work. Not too bad where they are put on IR or anything. Just for Sunday.

Growing pains

As you are all aware that this is my first year as Commissioner and with that comes a significant learning curve.  Taking the WiseGuy’s to the next level is my main focus and will undoubtedly have some growing pains. We must have everyone on the same page.

Being clear and concise starts with me.  Moving forward I will do my best to not have any grey areas and being clear as possible for all you ruthless savages.  I will dedicate the time, energy, and do whatever it takes to bring this league to the next level. Additionally, if there are any questions or if you need further clarification, please contact me or Jim (My DMs are open to y'all 24/7).

Let me be very clear when I say that it is extremely important for every owner to take the time and READ all posts, as they contain vital information about our league. If you feel something needs some clarification please do not hesitate to ask.

Now, to address this elephant in the room here, as much as I would love to Fidel Castro this situation, and call it a day while lighting a Cuban rolled cigar, I simply cannot. That is not the WiseGuy way. As it was stated in the previous post, we are to draft as the startup of a Dynasty League and that will remain true. If you didn't draft that way, I apologize but it was stated to do so in the post.

Furthermore, there will be a vote about the Dynasty League as previously mentioned.  All owners must participate in this vote. Please note, no matter how you vote,  there will be continued updates and necessary changes because of the newness of the Dynasty League settings.

There will be 2 options to vote on at the halfway point of the football season. (October 31st) There will not be an end of season vote to see if your players panned out.

Option 1: Retain the Dynasty League as is and will remain this way going into next year so on and so forth.

Option 2: Re-Draft Startup dynasty no keepers starting next year.

Jim, being one of our WiseGuy founding fathers, aka Day 1's, aka down with O.P.P, will be a spokesperson and helping me get the fundamentals of the Dynasty League sorted, situated and clearly communicated to y'all.  He will also aid with the tallying of the votes so y'all don’t think the Commish is counting fake ballots.

I know there is a lot of information about dynasty and I will communicate about all of it throughout the coming weeks I don't want to bombard you with information. As for some of the re-drafters and their cricket internet or cricket phones you have an opportunity here to vote.

Last little tidbits this online draft was only due the nfl season being so close. Tried making it convenient but yeah NO MAS. We will get together every year from here on out mark your calendars for "WiseGuys Day".

You can add a waiver with a $0 bid if there is no other bid.

Good luck this week Wiseguys! Cowboys Vs. Bucs (Where we at?) set the lineups! Besides Victor of course. I hope your team flops as bad as Donda did against CLB. I hope your team gets left at the runway like.. nvm
